They became very angry  and  in anger, one powerful Jinn created a whirlpool. This whirlpool sucked 2 warriors into the deep sea and the two warriors were drowned.  Not giving up these two  warriors  continued  their  fighting. Suddenly the Jinn  sprayed  some  water on  one of the  warriors and  he  became blind.  The  other  warrior seeing  the  other warrior  blind drew his sword and charged it  on the opponent.  At the same time the other warrior charged his  sword on  him and both  of the  warriors collapsed  and  died.

According to the legend there lived two  sisters  long  time ago.  Their names were Minah  and  Lina. These sisters  shared  a very strong bond with  each  other and  it  was  impossible to separate them.  however,  one day a notorious  chief  of  Orang  Laut  met  Lina  and  instantly fell in  love with  her.  Then he forcefully took Lina away turning a deaf ear to the plea of the sister. He  took  Lina  to the  sampan and at that very  moment the  sky turned  dark  and  a heady  thunderstorm  broke out.  Seeing this Minah  the  sister  of  LIna  made  a final  attempt  to  save her sister  from leaving  the  jerry.  Just then  a large wave  came  and  engulfed  her.  Seeing this dreadful  sight Lina freed  herself from her captors  and threw  herself into the  sea  to  accompany her  dear  sister.   When the  storm  was  over  there was  no  trace  of the  two  sisters. However, two  small  islands  emerged in the  place  where these two sisters disappeared into the sea. 

These  two  islands are known  as  Subar Laut and Subar  Darat. Following the  legend these two  islands are often termed  as  the  Sisters’ Island. It  is  believed that every  year the  day  when the sisters vanished into the  sea there will always  be  storm and  rain  in these  islands.
